Do I have to change my Financial Advisor?

As a TDMP client you will be assigned a local TDMP Approved Financial Advisor who will meet with you to advise on the types of investments best suited for your plan. If you are currently attached to a Financial Planner for RRSP or other investment plans there is no reason to change your advisor for those strategies.

However, for TDMP it is important that you work with an Approved Financial Advisor who is an expert in the CRA Cash Damming strategy.
